ACP/NewsU Webinar series continues in November
Social Media Webinars: Package deal of the year
NOTE: Multiple participants in one location are permitted to attend the Webinar for one payment, provided they use only one internet connection. For example, it is permitted to use a data projector and speaker for team training in a conference room for a single payment ($14.95). Or, two or three may gather around one connected computer and the single payment for that connection would still be $14.95. This rate applies to the first 100 ACP members who register for the Webinar.
Our social networking Webinar in November, 2008, gave us some general insights into the world of those new communications tools. Building on that first look, the Associated Church Press held a Webinar in October on using Twitter, and plans another on Facebook, 2 to 3 p.m. this Thursday, Nov. 12.
NewsU is the host and producer of the Webinars, which are part of their regular series of e-training for journalists. The partnership with ACP reduces the price of the Webinars to the unbelievably low rate of $14.95 per site for the first 100 members who register!
NewsU, the e-learning project of The Poynter Institute, is the online training home to more than 67,000 journalists, educators and students around the world. The ACP/NewsU partnership also plans future Webinars with coursework developed jointly, addressing specific professional concerns of the religious media.
Here are the details:
